Free Activities at City Facilities to Celebrate Family Day

Prince Albert, Sk. – Monday, February 19th is Family Day in Saskatchewan. The City of Prince Albert is providing a number of free activities at City facilities for families to get out and enjoy the day with each other. A free public skating session at the Art Hauser Centre from 7:30-9:00 PM Monday will cap a very busy day with other free events offered at the Alfred Jenkins Field House, Margo Fournier Centre, Mann Art Gallery and Historical Museum

FREE Events at City Facilities – Monday, February 19


Alfred Jenkins Field House

Free Gym Drop In – 1:00 – 4:00 PM

Free Drop In on Turf – 1:00 – 4:00 PM

Free Climbing Wall access – 1:00 – 4:00 PM

Indoor shoes needed


Margo Fournier Centre

Chair Assisted Yoga with Ruth Griffiths - 9:30 – 10:30 AM

Floor Hockey – 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Zumba with Gloria Bell - 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Basketball - 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Open Gym – 4:00 – 5:00 PM


Art Hauser Centre

Public Skating 7:30 – 9:00 PM


Mann Art Gallery

Art Drop-In – 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

All Ages Welcome! (Children must be accompanied by an Adult)


Historical Museum

Open 1:00 – 4:00 PM

Regular programming is also offered at these and other city facilities on Family Day. Frank J. Dunn Pool has lane swimming from Noon-1 PM, public swimming from 1-4 PM and combined public & lane swimming from 6:30-9:00 PM with regular admission.
