Communications Snow Route Parking Ban Lifted

<p>The City of Prince Albert would like to advise that the Snow Route Parking Ban declared at 9:00am yesterday morning has been lifted . Over the course of the next several days, City crews will be focusing on priority two streets (school zones, bus routes, central avenue downtown, etc). Given the strong gusting winds being experienced, some backtracking on priority one streets may be required.

CommunicationsCity Council Approves 2019 Municipal Budget

<p>Prince Albert City Council has approved the 2019 Municipal Budget in another challenging year. The total approved general fund budget for 2019 is $67.6 million which represents a $1.8 million increase from 2018. Once all revenues and expenses are accounted for, the City of Prince Albert will require an additional $1.2 million from property taxes which represents a 3.9% mill rate increase. </p>
